For almost a decade, I thought being overwhelmed was just part of being alive. I pushed through burnout, ignored my needs, and numbed out when things got too hard. Writing became the one place I could tell the truth — and slowly, it helped me come back to myself.
Now, I hold that space for others. I’m Kate Burns — a professional facilitator, poet, and speaker based in Nashville. I create creative emotional wellness workshops where people can pause, breathe, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface — without judgment.
Whether I’m working with a treatment center, a team in crisis, or a group of people simply trying to stay afloat, my goal is the same: to help people feel what they’ve been carrying, reconnect with themselves, and move forward from a place of clarity and confidence.
